El Salvador

I only have a little time, but to sum the trip up in one word was AMAZING!!! God did so many awesome things!! We saw around 40 people pray to receive Christ!!! To Him be the glory!! There were so many touching stories, that broke my heart! I love El Salvador SO much and I want to go back very soon. Sarah and Jorge were amazing organizers!! I miss the people in El Guayabo SO much, especially Brain, Esmeralda and Karla, they touched my heart SO much!! I will write more about the trip later, so stay tuned or just ask me about it and I would love to tell you all about it!! God did amazing things and I was forever impacted!!

I leave for El Salvador on early, early Sunday morning!!!! I'm SO stoked!!! God is going to some crazy AWESOME things!!! If you just be praying for logistics in getting there, safety and for God to be going before us and preparing hearts!!!

Britt Nicole

So Last spring I discovered Britt Nicole as a artist with the song the Lost get Found. So I was introduced to this song the other day and WOW its one of those songs that I connect with SO much. The lyrics are SO very powerful.



This is another one of Britt Nicole's songs that I discovered tonight, that just really hits home and the lyrics are SO good.

I love Tenth Avenue North

So I know I have said this before but I love tenth avenue north's music, their music speaks to me like no other. I found this video that is of a song that is going to be on their new album that comes out later this year, which I'm totally stoked for!! Hope you enjoy.

The Beauty of Letting Go

So this past week I would say that I got a real kick in the face by the Lord. My eyes were really opened up to the fact that I was holding on to somethings in my life that really aren't mine to hold onto and I've been holding on to "my rights". I was really humbled and awakened by the Lord. I realized that I needed to let go of these things and give them up to the Lord. I realized that these things that I had been clinging on so much to where hindering my walk with the Lord because I wanted it my way. So I decided to take this death grip off of some of these things I had been holding onto even though this I will admit scared me a bit. The beauty of it all though afterwords was I felt relief. It's amazing what happens when you just trust and obey what the Lord is asking. He is so very faithful!!

Here are a couple of verses that the Lord really used to really speak to me:


"For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless."-Psalm 84:11

"I once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. 8 Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ 9 and become one with him. I no longer count on my own righteousness through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through faith in Christ.[a] For God’s way of making us right with himself depends on faith."- Phiippians 3:7-9

Also the Tenth Avenue North Song "Let it Go" also played a big part. I'm just amazed by God and His grace that He has lavished upon up us.

Winter Jam 2010

So the past week or so has been kind of hard for me...I've been really stressed out with trying to balance working full time while still going to school full time as well as trying to deal with certain circumstances. I admit I was starting to get discouraged. However, the Lord came through in a huge way I had a good conversation with a friend and then I went to the Winter Jam concert with two of my awesome friends, this was so amazing and so encouraging and uplifting. Music like what I heard at the concert does wonders for my soul.


So on Sunday I went to Winter Jam which is a concert with a ton of Christian bands and its only ten dollars. This year the line up was Revive, Robert Pierre, Newsong, Sidewalk Prophets, Fireflight, Newsboys, Tenth Avenue North and Third Day. This concert was AMAZING! I had since Tenth Avenue North two other times in concert, so I knew if it would have just been them it would have been amazing. All the bands were good but I have to say that Tenth Avenue North and the Newsboys were my favorites by far. I just love their music. Again Tenth Avenue North's music is SO good and is filled with SO much truth. There is so much truth in their music and I can relate to their lyrics so closely, and it really just speaks to me and at times comforts me so very much, I wish there where words. One sweet thing is that tenth avenue north played one of their new songs that will be on their new album and it was amazing and seriously the lyrics speak to me so clearly. All I Know

This song was a song that Steele Croswhite wrote for faithwalkers and its absoultely AMAZING. It's a song that hits so close to my heart and how I have felt a lot lately. I really encourage you to listen to the words of this song they are so very powerful.
